"Remake/Remodel" Recycled Fashion

Course overview:
Come to our classes and learn how to:
* re-use unusual, reclaimed, junk materials and turn them into new, original clothes, jewellry and accessories.
*Re-imagine a favourite old item of cloth into something new.
*Learn traditional skills such as knitting, crochet, applique and weaving and apply them to all sorts of interesting materials.
*Use a sewing-machine.
"Remake/Remodel" is a recycled art and design label started by Jill Newman in the 1980's . We are now a growing collective, involving new, young talented artist/designers.
During this course, you will be able to access our collective technical skills and knowledge of using a variety of materials (including: plastics, rubber, wire, textiles, paper etc)- as well as our enthusiasm to share our flair for unique ideas.
There will be a fun photo-shoot at the end of the course.
