May Fair

In 2009, as part of the Service Level Agreement with LB Southwark, Art in the Park ran a swan making workshop at the first May Fair to take place in Burgess Park.  The Friends of Burgess Park plan for this to be a regular event. More than 100 children and adults spent time in our marquee making cane and paper swans which were ceremonially carried to the lake and floated on the water to mark the end of the event.
