This five evening course covers the basics of sculpting in wood, you will learn which tools to use, health and safety, how to best design and plan your carving, carving techniques, different uses of materials and much more...

Note: You will have to speak to the tutor in advance for this course so he can get an idea of what materials are needed. Please don’t be put off if you don’t any ideas on how to start with this course, our tutor is more than happy to talk it through with you. We have all the tools you will need for this course.

Students who have completed the five week course or have attended Bill's weekend woodworking course can use this time as a drop in session, to work on their own pieces with the support of Bill.

The five week course is for beginners and above.

Intermediate and advanced level students can take this as an opportunity to use the space to do their own work.

£140.00 per person, this includes all materials.

£10 per evening for drop in sessions.

Additional Info:

Please be aware that the woodworking course can get very messy and although plastic aprons will be provided it is recommended that you wear overalls or old clothing.
