Free-Form Sculpting

An informal session where people can test ideas, materials and have a go at different ways of working/making.

Course overview:

You will be working alongside our sculptor (your technician) to create a piece or pieces of sculpted artwork. This is an opportunity to learn or develop your sculptural knowledge in carving wood, plaster, construction, casting, etc over 5 evening sessions.

This is not a figurative sculpture session but more of an abstract/ pure form sculpture session.

Note: You will have to speak to the tutor in advance for this course so he can get an idea of what materials are needed. Please don’t be put off if you don’t any ideas on how to start with this course, our tutor is more than happy to talk it through with you.  You can find our contact details on the very bottom of the page.

Suitable for:

Beginners, Intermediate & Advanced level (Intermediate and Advanced level students can take this as an opportunity to use the space, materials and tools to do their own work)

5 evening sessions across a 5 week period

£80 (this includes some materials)

A 10% discount is available on 2 or more bookings.

Additional Info:

Please be aware that this sculpture course can get very messy and although plastic aprons will be provided, it is recommended that you wear overalls or old clothing when sculpting.

Light refreshments will be provided. For lunch, you can either bring your own or go to the Park Life Cafe just next door, more on the surrounding area.
