Line of carved pumpkins

Course overview:

This pumpkin-carving session is great for both adults and children alike. You will be able to carve a pumpkin following a design of your own which can then be used as a traditional Jack O' Latern at home or as a decorative piece in parties. Participants are encouraged to bring their own pumpkins as part of the fun is in the choosing of your own pumpkin!

Because pumpkins come in various shapes and sizes, it is important to have a general idea of what kind of design you want your pumpkin to be. For example, Medium to large sized pumpkins are ideal for most stencil designs, whereas small pumpkins tend to be better for carving simple, traditional faces. You can carve lots of small pumpkins to be scattered about (this is ideal for parties or general Halloween decoration).

Some tips for carrying your pumpkin: Do not carry by the stem, it may break. If it does or find the stem is already missing upon purchase, do not worry, it can still be used for carving. Also, avoid bruising it during transport or storage as this will shorten their life-span.

If you find you cannot for some reason, we can provide a pumpkin for you (please note this must be requested upon booking and there will be an extra charge of £4 per pumpkin).
